Small metal camera for
single round exposures on 2¼" x 2¼"
plates. Invented by Walter O'Reilly, London, British
patent no 10823 July 1888, manufactured by The
American Camera Co, London.

Funnel shaped frond with flap type spring loaded front
shutter and a 2 element 30 mm f/10 lens.
A larger model for
3¼" x
3¼" plates, named No 2, was introduced in 1890.

The back, designed by W.Phillips, Birmingham is more
interesting then the front.
"The wonder of the world" was sold for 5 shilling
including plates and chemicals.
